SomapaIT Honoured at ASOCIO Award Ceremony in Taipei

Somapa Information Technology PCL (SomapaIT) has been recognised at the ASOCIO Awards Ceremony held in Taipei, Taiwan on 10 November, receiving the ASOCIO Global Business Service Award 2025. The honour reflects SomapaIT’s progress under its Breaking Through the Global strategy and underscores the company’s emergence as a benchmark for Asia–Pacific technology providers expanding into new international markets.

Marking SomapaIT’s 30th anniversary, the award highlights the organisation’s continued commitment to advancing smart border solutions while demonstrating an approach grounded in collaboration, respectful engagement, and long-term partnership with government agencies around the world.

At the core of Breaking Through the Global is the recognition that governments face diverse and often complex border-management challenges. SomapaIT’s business model—co-developing systems alongside government agencies, embedding service delivery, and ensuring sovereign control—has proven both practical and sustainable. This model has contributed to the company’s expanding international footprint—from Papua New Guinea in the Pacific to Liberia in West Africa, and everywhere in between—alongside its longstanding operations across Asia.
